With the cold winter weather coming...it means one thing….ice dams. Pretty icicles dangling from your roof could spell trouble.

As winter approaches, you may experience ice dams that are common in the winter. Ice dams form when snow melts on your roof until it meets the unheated bottom edge of the roof and then freezes. Any additional melted snow or water will not properly drain off the roof and can cause many issues to your home.

Ice damming can cause water leak(s) into your home. This leak can cause damage to walls, ceilings, insulation and other areas. Every winter, we repair countless ceilings and walls saturated by ice dams. Carefully remove ice from your gutters to prevent costly damage!
